Kick off your first full day in Tromsø with an exhilarating day outdoors! Start your morning at Villmarkssenter, where you'll meet adorable sled dogs and embark on a dogsledding adventure.

If there isn't enough snow for dogsledding - instead we'll take the dogs out on a hike.

After the activity, enjoy some free time in town to grab a bite to eat and relax before your first small group Northern Lights expedition.

These expeditions can extend into the early morning, and you might even find yourself crossing the border into Finland in pursuit of the best viewing spots!

On your second full day in town we'll explore by foot so you can get acquainted with the area and learn about the local culture.

After breakfast we'll head to the Polar Museum to learn about Arctic history and visit the Polaria Arctic Aquarium to see a Seal feeding!

Once we're done at Polaria, everyone will have some free time before we reconvene in the evening for our second small group Northern Lights excursion.

If you're up for the challenge, try taking a cold plunge into the frigid Arctic waters before transitioning into the heated floating sauna.

Afterwards, we'll make our way over to Mack, the Northernmost Brewery in the world where we'll enjoy a tour before tasting some of their beer at nearby Ølhallen.

In the early evening we'll reconvene for our third and final small group Northern Lights excursion.

But don't worry, we'll still have another opportunity to see them tomorrow!

While your morning will be free today, in the afternoon we'll meet up for a social gathering to bowl, play billiards and hang out.

Afterwards we'll visit with a group of Sami people and their reindeer herd in the evening, feed the reindeer by hand, enjoy dinner at their camp and even go for a short reindeer sled ride.

During dinner we'll be educated by the Sami on their culture and traditions.

Since the activity will take place at night, if the weather and Aurora cooperates, you'll have an opportunity to feed reindeer under the Northern Lights!

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water! Today, you'll board an eco-friendly whale watching vessel and set sail into the rich Arctic waters surrounding Tromsø.

As you journey to the whale feeding grounds, take in the breathtaking snowy landscapes that define this stunning region.

This full-day excursion is not just about the whales; you'll also enjoy engaging lectures from knowledgeable marine biologists on board.

With beverages and light snacks available for purchase, plus a delicious lunch included, you'll be well-fueled for an afternoon of spotting Orcas and Humpback Whales up close in their natural habitat.

After a day filled with awe and excitement, you'll return to Tromsø for a happy hour send-off at Tromsø's Ice Bar! Raise a glass on Wes's dime with your fellow travelers as you celebrate an incredible week in the Arctic.

Sadly, this will be our final morning together. After breakfast most of our group will start making their way for the airport and the journey home.

If you've got the time off work and budget, this would be a great time to extend your trip elsewhere in Norway or Europe. My recommended route home includes a one night layover in Oslo.
